• The Weekend..

  man.. it was cold this morning.. i didn't even want to get out of bed.. my nice warm bed.. anyways.. this weekend was good.. full of friends, excitement and suprises..

  friday i had off.. or.. i was supposed to "work from home".. sure.. what did i end up doing? well.. i rented nacho libre, mission impossible: III, click, final destination 3, butterfly effect 2, and some indie movie with sophia myles (from tristan & isold) called art school confidential.. i haven't gotten around to watching all of them yet.. just nacho and art school confidential.. it's pretty funny.. the way it portrays an art school and all the pretentious art snobs in it is hilarious..

  but yes.. so friday was chill.. and i chilled out to one of the best games of all time.. and uhhh.. i decided to give myself an early christmas present.. the entire collection of the sims 2 expansions..

  

  lemme tell you.. this game is addicting as heck.. and now that i've got pets.. i made hokka! ah, he's too cute.. also.. it doesnt hurt to have britney spears and jessica alba as your neighbors.. ha..

  saturday.. we had a little bbq at the house.. there was a suprise visitor too.. ryan freakin' wilson.. who i haven't seen in about a year.. he's been M.I.A. for some reason or another.. and warren and dom managed to roll on over too and we had some nice cheddarwurst and watched people beat the crap out of each other in the ultimate fighter finals.. awesome.. bbqs and people beating each other up and beers.. a good time was had by all..

  

  sunday.. wow.. what can i say about sunday.. first of all.. can you even start to fathom how awesome that san diego/cincinnati game was?!? my god.. it was an old fashioned AFL shoot out.. back to back big plays.. scoring back and forth.. it was intense!! san diego was down 7 to 28 before half time.. then out of no where.. they drive all the way down to the end zone on their opening possession after the half.. it was amazing.. truly amazing..

  

  ladainian tomlinson is unbelievable.. he's just too good.. he has got to be one of the best, if not THE best running back in the league.. and after watching this game.. i think there's no arguement there.. philip rivers pulled out some big plays.. gates was on it.. hands down the best tight-end in the league..  mccardell made a magnificent catch late in the game that resulted in a crucial first down, then an eventual touch down.. even floyd stepped up with clutch recieving after parker left the game due to a neck injury.. this years squad is packed with weapons in almost every position.. i seriously don't see how the chargers can not make it into the play-offs this year.. next week is the big AFC West showdown with the broncos.. so far, the broncos are tied with the chargers at 7-2.. though the broncos lead the division because of the chargers loss to kansas city.. oh.. side note.. carolina panthers are what? 4-4? maybe after tonight's monday night football, they'll get up to 5-4.. good luck.. cuz they're definitely going to need it against the bucs..

  and that's pretty much it.. oh.. another side note.. drunk dialing.. i think it's fun.. and everyone should do it.. even though, for it to really be a "drunk dial".. the person calling should have a little more alcohol in their system than just two smirnoffs and a rum and diet pepsi.. haha.. but thanks.. it was good catchin' up for that short time.. we must do it again.. and that weekly scheduled call doesn't sound like such a bad idea after all, huh?
